RESORT:
Municipalities of Triora, Cosio d’Arroscia and Pornassio, Arroscia and Tanaro Valleys; province of Imperia LENGTH:
3 days, 2 nights PROGRAMME:
1st day: arrival in the morning and accommodation at Il Faggio structure (Pornassio); at 11 meeting in the screening room and introduction through power point about flowerings and biodiversity in the Ligurian Alps’ environments; at 12.30 lunch. Afternoon: lesson of sport climbing in the gym (with alpine guide) and treasure hunt (with educator) in the park surrounding the structure with didactic activity on the theme of flora; dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day: breakfast; at 9 transfer with own means to Monesi and beginning guided hike from Monesi to Mount Saccarello (the highest Ligurian mountain, 2,200 metres), through mountain meadows covered with flowers; at 12.30, lunch at Sanremo Refuge; at 2.30 descent towards Monesi and transfer by bus to the structure; at 6, meeting in the screening room for an introduction through power point about forts in the Ligurian Alps, dinner and overnight stay..
3rd day: breakfast; at 9, short stroll with guided tour to Nava’s Central Fort, return for lunch at 12.30; departure early in the afternoon. MIN/MAX NR. OF PARTICIPANTS FORESEEN:
