The trip
Lovely and easy excursions through the Gesso Valley, the favourite holiday retreat for the ex Kings of Italy. Ideal for families and group of friends who love to spend their holidays in the mountains but do not feel like hiking to high altitudes.
1st day. Arrival and accommodation in Entracque
2nd day. Soft trekking along the SENTIERO DELLA LEGGENDA (about 2 hours; disparity in altitude 200 m) - Optional visit to the L. Einaudi dam
3rd day. Soft trekking along the LOU VIOL DI TAIT (about 2 hours; disparity in altitude 200 m) or to PIAN DEL VALASCO (about 2:30 hours; disparity in altitude 450 m)
Free afternoon with optional programme: visit to Cuneo, visit to Vernante, the village of Pinocchio, etc....
4th day. Soft trekking along the VIA DELLE MERIDIANE (about 2 hours; disparity in altitude 300 m)
End of tour
